School of Christian Living (SCL)
Study the Living Word
Each winter the Chapel offers a series of challenging and enlightening classes known as The School of Christian Living (SCL). The school was started in 1992 by the former Rev. Dr. Arnold Poole and continues to provide high level Christian education to students.
The school is open to the community and begins with appetizers and time for mingling at 5:00 p.m. Class follows from 6 to 7 p.m.
This year's School of Christian Living program began on Wednesday January 24th, 2018.
Please join us for the third semester presentations by Pastor Kathi Wiggins on the topic of "A more Excellent Way ... to Serenity". The third semester presentations will be held on the following Wednesdays: April 11,18, 25 in fellowship hall.
This class offers an overview of the spiritual wisdom known as The Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. These 12 principles are rooted in Christian values that promote wholeness and freedom from self-destructive patterns. They are helpful to everyone seeking well-adjusted lives with healthy interpersonal relationships.
